My girlfriend is getting dragged to it by her friend and she doesn't want to go without me.
I don't care though.

No, I want watch Twilight 3. But here a couple vampire movies that I think I might actually watch instead, every one of them are far superior to any Twilight Movie:

1. From Dusk Till Dawn
2. Near Dark
3. Fright Night
4. John Carpenter's Vampires
5. Dracula (the classic original)
6. Vampire's Kiss
7. Dracula 2000
8. Daybreakers
9. Bram Stoker's Dracula
10. 'Salem's Lot (original)
11. Abbot and Costello Meet Frankenstein (Dracula is there)
12. the entire Hellsing anime
13. the entire Blood+ anime
14. all of True Blood
15. I Am Legend
16. Dracula Dead and Lovin' It
17. Martin
etc. etc. etc. etc. etc.
What about Let The Right One In?
Never saw it. I only wanted to list good (or just okay) vampires movies that I had actually seen. I mean, I could have listed a whole slew of Hammer films, but I've never seen any of them. For all I know, Twilight might actually be better than them.

And yes, there are worse vampire movies than Twilight. Do the words "Dracula 3000" mean anything to you?

possibly. even tho i hate twilight with a burning, firey passion, which i would like to use to set fire to its author, cast, and fanbase, my girlfriend really likes twilight, and since she likes it, i am willing to restrain my hatred of it for a few hours and watch the movie for her. i will even try my best not to mock it!

My brother will probably see it with his girlfriend. He is just that kind to her.

What worries me, though, is that he has been dressing up like Edward of late.
Someone hold me. :(

As for me, I would only see it if my brother invited me to their... Date...

So, yeah. Not going to happen will it?

I love landslide polls. I have more faith in the world now.
What's funnier is the number of " I'm not going, but my gf will go see it with her friends" posts is (this is my case as well ). Tells so much about this movie's audience.

I haven't seen any of the series, and have no reason to. That also means I don't feel I have a right to hate them.

Sure, why not. I don't expect to like it, but my lady friend almost certainly will. I'll probably enjoy the experience much more than when I went to see that drab piece of shit, Brooklyn's Finest.
