No, but I've been meaning to start. I've decide that if I ever did start, I'll have to make sure I have access to the whole series first, none of that 'wait a week for the next episode only to find out the next few weeks is a filler arc/restarted the fucking storyline' BS that turned me off the genre in the first place.
Yes surprisingly, most people on the Escapist who know me think I hate it though. I only hate anime like Naruto, thats full of boring filler. (Also as a note, Naruto rips off alot of it's martial arts from kung fo movies) Anime that I like, or even love would be shows like Full Metal Alchemist (Fantasic story and plot, and the english dubs sounded as good as the Japanese version. Not to mention the filler was actually good) and Eureka Seven. (Eureka Seven was unique for a mech show, because the action was more ship based rather than focusing on the mechs. Interesting take on things) Also, I did like Death Note, but only the first season. Why? Well It felt very unique and had a suspenseful feeling almost like watching the movie the Fugitive. Of course after season 1 it became more about emo culture and such and I lost interest. Also Case Closed, I'm just like that.
I watch a whole ton of anime since having been introduced to them about 6 months ago.
I'm currently waiting for the Black Rock Shooter anime to start streaming... if its delayed AGAIN I'll scream.

No, I don't watch it. I wouldn't say I dislike it, it's more a case of I have no interest in it, just like JRPGs, manga and the whole culture that's grown up around Japanese (or psuedo-Japanese) collectibles.
I started when I got into pokemon over a decade ago (and now I feel old) but some years later stopped for even more years. Recently I started again because I discovered that a.) I have money now and b.) amazon.co.uk sells anime DVDs for like 1/2 the price of many other stores.
So yeah, I watch anime. The level of quality is as wavery as in any other medium but offers other kinds of stupidity to be angry at than say western TV shows.
I still like it a lot.

Once again; my answer isn't on the poll. I watch anime sporadically and enjoy it when I do watch it. At the moment, my favorite anime are:
1) Detroit Metal City
2) Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya
3) Love Hina
4) Suzuka
5) Ikki Tousen
I haven't seen any of those in about a month though. The last anime I actually sat down and watched was Dragon Ball Z-Kai. I haven't noticed much difference between that and the original series except for the horrible new opening/closing credit songs

Yes, I watch it a lot. Too much, I would say. I hardly remember series after I finish them. The only real exceptions for this are Rosario + Vampire, because it is the first ecchi anime I've ever watched. School Days, because of, what else... The ending. And Sayonara, Zetsubou Sensei because of its sheer briliance.
I have no idea what the appeal of anime as a genre is. I like Dragon Ball Z, but this obssesion with the style of animation confuses the hell out of me.
