Not a fan. Plotlines are too disjointed (they're supposed to be) and some of them are INCREDIBLY stupid. I watched 2 whole plotlines (each was 4-5 episodes), could barely follow either of them and was disgusted at how contrived half of it was. I can't watch this tripe, maybe the books or the original series was better, but the current crap isn't worth it.

I thought I was a Doctor Who fan for a while. Turned out I'm just a David Tennant fan. Dude wins at everything.

...also Billie Piper. It wasn't the same after she left.

I've only seen the show a few times but I do have to say it is pretty cool. I will have to marathon it at some point.

I devoured all 4 of the latest series plus a lot of the specials available on-demand in Netflix, and am now patiently awaiting the arrival of the first disc of series 5 in the mail.

It's a wonderfully creative show, quality varies wildly depending on who's writing the episode.
I wasn't sure about it at first, as the first couple episodes of the first series are almost tragically cheesy and campy, but by about episode 4, I was hooked.

SO much so I'm willing to blow £300 on a coat TimeLord recommended. I want it. I need a coat anyway.

THEN I'M SORTED FOR A THOUSAND HALLOWEENS.

Nope. Ever since Tennant left I boycott the series.
I am a huge Tennant fan but Matt Smith is really good! Boycotting is stupid.

OT: Doctor Who is awesome! As you can tell by my Escapist profile!

I love Doctor Who, until they ended David Tennant and I just could not watch it anymore. The new Doctor is my least favorite and frankly I would like it very much if they moved him along and replaced him... immidiately.

I watched a part of an episode about a year ago, otherwise I have no interest in the show.

Well I basically saw the entire new series in about two days, so I guess I'm quite the fan. I'm not too fond of the writing on the newer episodes, though.
watched all of doctor who(the new episodes(the ones made in modern time)) in about 2 weeks...yeah, it was a boring summer.

Well, I've recently (recently being withing the past 3 years for me. No really, that's in what time period I consider the term 'recently' to be applicable. Pisses the hell out of my professors.) discovered the BBC America channel I get. I can honestly say it's probably my favorite channel out there right now. With frequent showings of Planet Earth and marathons of Star Trek, I have fallen in love with this little bridge between the Brits. However, my top two watched shows would have to be Top Gear and Dr. Who. Dr. Who especially has grasped me. So much that I've bought T-shirt, Seasons I have not even seen on T.V., and a lunch box that I never use. The concept of a time-ship, meeting beautiful damsels and going backwards, forwards, up, and down through time and space amazes me... So yes, I absolutely love Dr. Who but would also venture to say that I ADORE all that BBC does.
