The little instant messaging service on the side of my GMail page. What is that? Why would I want to use it?
I agree. I have never used this, and see no reason to in the future.

But as far as biggest problem goes, I'd have to say the Buzz privacy fiasco.

Why isn't "trying to get as much influence over the internet to gather personal info about people" on the list of options? I miss that one!

Of the options, I've only heard of Gmail.

What is Wave or Deja News?
Proving Google's true mistake: a lack of advertising. Google wave sounded awesome when I first heard about it forever ago (not that I have anyone to use it with, but it still sounded cool), and then when the beta rolled around, no one knew about it (I certainly didn't), then when it hit full release, no one knew about it (I still didn't), and finally everyone found out about it when news sites started covering it's shutdown.

And I don't even know what Deja News was.

Also, since you're asking: Google Wave was kinda a mixture of forums and email. You could send a wave to someone, then you and he could both edit it or add to it in real time and see each-others changes. there were a few "apps" too that allowed more functionality.

Which they went on to buy out, now having both. Google Video I find is brilliant for documentaries since it doesn't have a limit on video length.

I don't really think Google make big mistakes. A big mistake in a business results in you having to lose half your employees. A big mistake is when you are caught using sweatshops. A big mistake is when its found out you have been skipping taxes.

Google make minor slip ups to be honest.

I think their biggest mistake is the change they made to Google Images. It just feels way too cluttered to me.

But then again, that's just my opinion.

Google Toolbar. It wants to translate every fucking page I visit and I can't turn that off for some reason.

As Marter put, changing the way images works. I'm still working for a way to turn that crap off if that's even possible.

Their position on Net Neutrality.
Bad ninja bad!

This is my major issue with them, they are the internet why not stay neutral? Maybe we should have the internet leak into real life starting in googles main office?

"What's this nasty black goo, it smells horrid?"

"Oh that would be the internet, it appears you have a leak."
