lack of Assassin class makes me a sad panda, I want up close melee insanity! RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAR! Barbarian will have to do.

The Monk will probably be the right class for you. Check out some vids on youtube to see what I mean.

Probably try Witch Doctor for an hour, then the Wizard, then Monk, then Demon Hunter.
Get a feel for them all.

Then go multiplayer and be AWESOME. :3

I think the Witchdoctor and Monk are the best and I'll be using the Witchdoctor mostly because I'm a Zoo type player. I love his design and I hope he kicks ass and has a nice assortment of pets.

The Witch Doctor had me at "Giant toad that eats enemies".

It's close between Monk and Witch Doctor. I'm leaning towards Witch Doctor, but only because I love my Necromancer...

I miss the assassin. Demon Hunter it is then.

Monk is probably the closest you get to Assassin since DH is a ranged class. DH has some cool traps, but Monk is the kind of extremely deadly, low HP character that rushes in, kills everyone and quickly backs away again.

How are these two games mutually exclusive? I'll be playing Torchlight 2 aswell, for around a month (online might help extend that a bit). Then I'll be playing D3, hopefully for the next 10 years .

Whoa almost a decade playing one game, Iam guessing you played it on and off as i dont it would take that long playing it everyday straight.

I grew tired of the sameness of every single Barbarian in Diablo 2.
Whirlwind...Whirlwind...Whirlwind...Why bother with anything else?

And they had better not abuse the fuck out of immunities on Hell Mode again, because I'd like to actually be able to finish the game in Single Player without spending a year grinding for gear.

Oh nothing. I have a personal boycott against Activision Blizzard. Mostly the Activision side, but I'm not compromising my morals on this.

I WANT MY PALLY BACK! I believe that this will be the straw to break this camels back. Blizzard has been killing wow with every new patch, we need three copies of one game to get an entire story, and there hasn't been vikings in ages. Blizzard is never going to get tired of sucking up stupid peoples money while destroying the franchises that made them what they are.

But to answer the original question i'm going to play all of the characters to fully experience the game. Seriously who isn't going to test out all of the classes before picking their main and alts? Stupid children perhaps that have no real soul just want to spend mommy and daddys money and cuss on the internet to make them feel grown-up
