Where i live, this old veteran from the Vietnam War likes to make his house scary, mostly cause he just likes to scar kids for life.

So my friends and i do the same and see who can scar more kids. yes, its starting to border on criminal but we find it worth it to put that old bastard in his place.

Pagan holiday that was force-fed to American "culture". In Europe, we usually have holidays around death and dead relatives, so I'm dragged to the graveyard tomorrow. Lightning candles and stuff like that.
Pagan? Here's an interesting fact: the term "Halloween" was originally hallow's eve. All Hallow's Eve = All Saint's Eve = The night before All Saint's Day.
IT'S A CHRISTIAN HOLIDAY YOU EXTREMELY SILLY PERSON.

Pics of my Joanna Dark costume!:

I even managed to throw together her casual outfit when I had to change to bring up something from the basement (no good pics of it yet).

I love everything about Halloween! There's not one thing that I can pin down as better than all of the rest.

Movies, coming up with costume ideas, getting candy, going to parties...I'll have to skip this year's, though. I have to work overtime - I'm typing this up on my break as it is.

Overall, though I just like the concept of the holiday. Sure, it's commercial, but it's not as bad as other such holidays, and the weather tends to be nicer. Besides, candy is always a plus.

All those people toting the american holiday phrase can honestly just go suck a lemon, are you that bitter about life you'd not crack a smile at a holi- okay an EVENING that lets neighborhoods trade sweets and goodies with their communities youngins and let them run around in silly costumes for an evening?

I mean have a heart, my neighborhoods kids were all so cute (UK) and we all had a little bowl of sweets and things to hand out. Was just plain fun and in alot of cases adorable.

A True Holiday? Naw.

A fun evening celebration? Why the fuck not.

Well, I voted "Candy", but my REAL favorite is picking up Bioshock for 5 bucks on Steam.

Normally, I would say "Minecraft Update!", but since It refuses to download no matter what I do (I even tried un-installing and re-installing it),
I'll stick with my annual Silent Hill 2 play through.

And Christians dressed up like Frankensteins and zombies and went around asking for candies and egged other people's houses?
