So, I had a few questions, because I'm considering getting either Dead Island or Space Marine next week, and I already know a fair bit about Space Marine, so here we go!

1) How does it control in general? (XBOX 360 only please)
2) I've heard about the level scaling, but do weapons require a certain level to use?
3) How good is the AI?
4) In terms of co-op, how's the community? Are they loud, annoying, obnoxious, or polite and generally fun to play with in your experience thus far? (Again, XBOX 360 only)
5) Is there much of a story, or is it just "survive"?

That's all for now. But I'll add more if I think of them.

Ok:
1) It's not as...fast as say Left 4 Dead. You're not sprinting through the game world and your turning speed isn't like you're sitting on hydraulic turn-table. In fact you have stamina which drains as you do things like sprinting, jumping, and swinging you weapons.
2) Yes. Weapons, all weapons, have a certain level you need to reach to use. I recently found a knife that requires me to be lvl. 14 to use and I'm currently only lvl. 7.
3) I can't really answer this one with 100% confidence due to the fact I've barely started but so far the A.I. is pretty challenging; but it really depends on the difficulty of the quest you are currently on, ranging from very easy to hard and very hard.
4) I can't answer this one at all. I haven't played with anyone yet. I'm still trying to get used to the way the game plays and I suggest you do the same before you play with someone else.
5) Yes, there is a story. It may not look like it at first but a story does slowly start to emerge as you play.

Thanks, that helps a bit.

Are there many side quests and things, or is it mostly just story missions? (I forgot to ask this to begin with, but there you go!)

1. It handles really well. everything you do spends stamina so pacing yourself is a good idea, I have had a few detection errors on stairs where I would get stuck though.
2. Yes, like in borderlands.
3. Pretty good. I haven't had any problems, but I am also less than half way through the game.
4. I do not know, I have played solo so far.
5. Yes there is a story.

There are a shit tone of sidequests. I've played for a little over 16 hours with a friend and I'm only 36% through the main storyline
