So with all of the recent hype with the movie, MovieBob's videos, Blackest Night/Brightest Day, Emerald Knights (which was awesome), etc - I've really started to get into Green Lantern. However I've only read Emerald Dawn and Secret Origin so far, and I'd really like to bury myself in Green Lantern material.
I just don't know where to start.
Secret Origin seemed like a good place, but then someone said I should read the Emerald Dawn series. Both had more than enough material to get me hooked, but also more than enough material to get me confused. My current list goes like this:
(Note that I'm trying to stick to Post-Crisis continuity, and read somewhat in chronological order)
1. Secret Origin
2. Emerald Dawn
3. Emerald Dawn 2
4. Emerald Twilight
5. A New Dawn
6. Zero Hour: Crisis in Time
7. Rebirth
8. Blackest Night
9. Brightest Day
a. Green Arrow/Green Lantern
My questions are:
Where do Sinestro and the Sinestro Corps (and their series) fit in? Should I just skip most of the Kyle Raynor books? What about John Stewart and Guy Gardner? Are there any misc. books I should read that aren't under the Green Lantern title?
If any Green Lantern fans are out there, I could use a chronological list (or link to such a list) of post-crisis trade paperbacks of the Green Lantern series.
Anyone out there that can offer some help?
*Also, I'm looking to read the stories whether they're good or bad - but if there are stories you hate for some reason, tell me why?
