This has kinda been bothering me for a while now... and it's a bit obscure, but...

What's up with the red cord tied around Ayako's bed? X_x I've tried to figure it out just from the game's information, and got nowhere. Is this something cultural, or just random added into the game to make it creepier...ish?

Oh, and where the fuck is that blasted doll in her bedroom >.<??!??!! I've looked just about everywhere minus breaking the game and crawling Alma-style under her bed @___@

PS: Before someone asks... yes, I do own the game; yes., I have played it ( obviously, since I own it X_x ); no, I did not rip it off a torrent file or something like that. I bought it...

That aside, the only games that are connected in the series ( so far ) are 1 and 3, and as far as I can tell, it's just that the main character ( or one of them, in the case of #3 ) is the same in both. So going out-of-order wouldn't be harmful. Kinda like how none of the main-"cannon" Final Fantasy games have anything whatsoever to do with each other, beyond maybe a few recurring character names (Cid, Biggs, and Wedge, mostly) and maaaybe the setting in a few of them x-X

PS: Found the doll on my own... feel kinda silly because I was just looking too low :x Damn those things can be in some tricky places...

As for continuity, I'm not fussed. I'm just enjoying playing the games in the order they're released and seeing how things change as time goes on.

Where'd you get your #4? I got mine off Ebay rather cheaply. Need to get the English subs patch working though.
