I hate being asked "What kind of girls do you like?" or "Do you have a girlfriend?" or any other questions about my love life. The problem I have is I have no interest in this subject what so ever, so I don't understand why some one would ask me about my love life. I'm not as annoyed with the question as much as the fact that people do not want to tell me why they want to know. Every time I get this question I don't get the feeling that the person asking me is actually interested in my personal life. It's just a question to ask in order to make small talk, yet they don't want to let up on it despite me clearly not wanting to talk about it.

"Are you sure you don't want some [name of meat/dairy/egg-based food here]?"

This one gets asked whenever I'm at another person's house while they're eating, after I've already told them I'm a vegetarian. It's probably out of some misguided sense of courtesy on the asker's part (they probably feel like they're leaving me out or something), so I let it slide, but it's still annoying. Not as annoying as when meat-eaters make the erroneous assumption that I give a shit what other people eat, and get preemptively defensive towards me as a result. But that's an annoyance for another thread. :p

"Where did you hide the bodies?" I mean, ugh... If I hid them I don't want them found. Silly police-person.

Ahhh, stupid joke aside, most likely "Do you speak Spanish?". I'm not overly nationalistic by nature, but one should never ask that to a Portuguese.

him over there said:
How are you? That is the question I absolutely hate most, especially since it's so social that it is impossible to ask it seriously. How are you doing? well I'm going through a bad break up and- Dude I was just saying hi. Seriously now it's like impossible to actually ask about important things or share stuff. okay maybe I'm being a bit hyperbolic.
Whenever I ask that question I always hear the response and help my friends if they are not doing well. It is stupid to ask such a question and not be prepared to deal with the bad if it exists.
