I have played through the game multiple times (never gets old(the whole sereis of doom never gets old)) and during the game your given a choice of sending a message to earth for back up or not sending the message. I have chosen both and there is never a difference in the storyline because the main badguy still says that u sent the message and that he will use the ship to bring hell to earth.

I know this is a waist of a thread but I just want to know.

Yeah Doom 3 needed more lights although it still did a fairly good job of scaring the shit out of me, and it was quite immersive, but the lack of lighting really pissed me off at times, made certain areas suicidally hard, which while I appreciate the difficulty I do not appreciate having to turn my T.V. brightness up every time I wanted to play.

Doom3 is pretty much system shock 3
*resisting the urge to curbstomp the noob*
Only instead of the atmosphere and good gameplay they added choppy framerates and a big helping of boredom?
