Quick Question about Fallout: New Vegas

I'm playing New Vegas here and am looking for the best Melee weapon I can find. However, I'm on a "kill everything I meet" playthrough and am currently at level 27; meaning I've killed quite a few NPCs (including Vendortron) and thus have failed almost every quest. According to my own rules, I can only initiate dialog with someone if they're the one to walk up to me and start the conversation (like Niel, Sunny, and the Legion Assassins). Once said conversation ends, I must kill them without talking to them again.

This leaves me in a tight spot as Knock-Knock and Oh Baby! can only be acquired after certain quests are started and the Shiskebob can only reliably be gotten through a vendor (which I can't speak to due to the aforementioned rule). I do currently have Pushy and it's undoubtably awesome, but I've already spent a good amount of skill points into Melee and don't want them to go to waste (plus most of my remaining skill points are needed for other things).

So keeping in mind that I can't normally talk to people and must kill everything, what's the best Melee weapon you can think of that would be obtainable with this type of playthrough?

Off Topic: Why are the Captcha's now ads? o_0 (I don't post very often)

EDIT: In case anyone's wondering why I'm even doing this kind of playthrough, New Vegas was suppose to be designed to allow the player to either kill everything except one character (whom I did technically kill twice) or kill nothing at all and still be able to beat the game. I wanted to put that to the test.

Actually, you can get Knock Knock without doing the quest. Just kill the guy in the basement and loot the key from his corpse. It's only nominally better than pushy though. Might I suggest getting a Ballistic Fist from The Fort?

You could just try using a good ol' super sledge instead of Oh Baby!, maybe try Nephi's Golf Driver? Or even a rebar club which is used quite commonly by super mutants.

Also, sometimes Legionary assassins may have thermic lances which are good.

Your best bet, however, would be to go to Vault 3 and acquire some rippers from the fiends and a chinsaw from Motor-Runner.

And then you also have your unarmed weapons which are pretty easy to acquire.

Tried that, but he doesn't have the keys on him. I looked it up and it seems to be related to...
the fact that I killed Boxcars way earlier and failed "Wheel of Fortune".

Already have a Super Sledge, but it's DAM is still about ten-percent lower than Pushy and it weighs far more. As for the Chainsaw, I might do that but it seems like it might degrade too fast, though Jury Rigging would definitely help with that. Would it's DPS at 53 Melee be enough to eclipse Pushy or the Ballistic Fist at around 29 Unarmed though?

I'm pretty sure Jury Rigging allows you to repair the Chainsaw with any two-handed melee weapon.

As for DPS, I'm not entirely sure on whether it would be better though keep in mind it is a continuous attack and in my experience I've dished out a lot of damage with it.

However, it requires a melee of 75 to be properly used so it could be a bit wonky in the hands of your courier, not to mention it weighs a lot (20).

Experimentation is the best thing you can do right now. Go to vault 3and try out your unarmed weapons on some of the fiends, hopefully they'll be a ripper somewhere which you can then test out in comparison to the unarmed weapons.

If the ripper performs admirably then the chainsaw will only do better.
