Quick Question About GlaDOS

Regarding her actions at the end of Portal 2:

After you shoot your portal at the moon and you and Wheatley are about to be blown into space, GlaDOS could have just let you be blown away at that point. She was back in control of Aperture at that point (pretty sure anyway). Instead, she saves you. My question is: does this mean that maybe GlaDOS has some of Caroline's humanity left, or did she have an alternate motive?

PS- I know that she deletes Caroline at the end...that's why I'm asking.

Don't know why I do these spoilers...I'm sure everyone has seen the ending already but...

Well, one of the themes throughout the game was how GLaDOS was wrestling with her bizzarre romantic feelings for you, so...I'm thinking she did that of her own volition.

Apart from the sympathy she feels for you that a couple of other people mentioned, the credits song is all about how she's sick of failing to murder you. So instead, she wants to let you go. Presumably she's worried about you riding the space core back to Earth and killing her with it somehow.

She hasn't had the best of luck with killing you in the past, after all.

She must have felt it only fair that since you gave her back control of the lab she save you.

Afterwards she delete's Caroline from her system.

she CLAIMS she deleted caroline but in 'want you gone' she says "little caroline IS in here too" which is present tense. and since the song is after you were released and then shows wheatly (confirming it's after you blasted him into space) still up for debate tho...

Its left pretty open ended if she did or did not delete Caroline. I think the "Little Caroline" probably references to how GlaDOS starts hearing her own voice of consciousness after spending time away from the mainframe body.

Also, GLaDOS makes a point earlier on about how you're(A.K.A. Chell [Last name not found]) the only one who would murder someone trying to help them(Companion Cube perhaps? or maybe thinking of herself with or without knowing about Caroline?)
