Do you have to have the disc in the CD drive to play...or do you just install and play without the CD. (This might be a stupid question...but I don't know much about computer games.)

Well I downloaded off steam so I don't HAVE a CD. I believe all Valve games have an option to perform a "full install" via steam that lets you play without the CD.roflchopter said:

Going by other valve games i've bought via the medium of disk (Orange box) i think you won't need the disk to play once it's installed.

Try to install it on multiple pc's though and I think Steam will nab your CD Key. Don't bother trying to share it. You need to go through steam to play.
