Quick question for those involved with electronics

Since I got to take a few classes dealing with electronics, does anyone know any websites that sell kits of semiconductor and any other electronic elements? I can't seem to find any. I keep finding sites that sell pre-set kits for a certain type of project.

There are a few sites around that you can find component kits on; such as Jameco.com or Digikey.com. Here's what I found on Jameco after doing a quick search for 'component kits' http://www.jameco.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/StoreCatalogDrillDownView?langId=-1&storeId=10001&catalogId=10001&freeText=component%20kits&search_type=jamecoall
