are you an atheist if you don't believe in the existence of gods or merely disbelieve in God as well as other religions but beleive that a god or god can exist

An agnostic does not deny the existence of God and heaven but holds that one cannot know for certain whether or not they exist.

What you are thinking of is more Agnostic. They believe that there is could be a small possibility but are pretty damn sure there aren't any gods or goddesses while atheists deny gods all together. They believe there is nothing whatsoever up there.

alright thank you, I am probably agnostic, though i don't believe that God exists period. I think that the idea of gods is interesting
