My only computer right now is a 15" Macbook Pro. Its processor is decent and it has plenty of RAM but the graphics card is a GeForce 9400M which I know isn't exactly great. I've got WIn7 installed with Bootcamp.

Anyway, I'm looking at the minimum specs for Shogun 2 and it says it needs a "256 MB DirectX 9.0c compatible graphics card (shader model 3)" and since I'm not really a computer person I have no idea what that means. I don't care about the game looking pretty so I just need to know if I could get it to run on low settings.

No, I can't upgrade. I've already looked into that and apparently the card is built directly into the logic board or something.

(Please no "Mac, lol!" posts. Those just make you look stupid.)

Yeah, that's pretty much what I was expecting. Thanks anyway. Pretty frustrating that an otherwise perfectly good machine is crippled by the sucky GPU, but I'll deal with it.

If you wanna easily look at that stuff, these help a lot; shows you were you go wrong and by how much.
