I have never actually met gay people, but why people think they aren't supposed to get married is beyond me.

It's a lack of love that screws up children, not the parent's gender. And if we were going to start creating qualifications for parents, why stop? Why not create parenting licences! After all, so many straight couples seem to be crap at it!

I too am religious, and contrary to popular belief, all Christians do not hate homosexuals and secretly wish to stone them into the ground. Most Christians at least try and convert the homosexuals to being heterosexual, at least in my particular sect of Christianity. I'm fine with homosexuals as long as they don't come onto me or anything. It is their life and I'm still not sure whether to believe that Homosexuality is engendered into the mind or if it is a choice, therefore I am neutral.

Gay couples should be able to adopt, because in my opinion it would do so much good to all those orphans without parents. What does it matter if their parents are gay, as long as it is explained clearly to the child. Even though some psychological researches claim that a child needs both male and female rolemodel in the family to develop in the right direction, recent reasearches have proven these claims wrong.

I get what you mean, but I have gay parents, and for my friends one parent is a distant relative living with me and my mom. I even go to a Catholic school (not that all Catholics are anti-gay, just a large amount of my school is), and no one knows, save for a very good friend who doesn't care.Carnage95 said:
