QUICK! Whats True Blood!? A relationship thread.

OK, a relationship thread, never done this before. Yeah its a relationship thread, I'l get to the question in a second.

Do You know why I never made one of these? Its because Their has never been a girl quite like the one I am talking about. I met her through my friends a while ago and never talked to her that much. But about a week ago, wee had a really long, great conversation. And we kept having them, and we have a ton in common, including the fascination for Australia iv had since I was a kid (Actually kind of important to me. When I heard she had the same fascination It touched my heart).

I guess I am going to make more threads about things that interest her, because some things She LOVES I have never heard of...

Like true blood.

She is crazy about it, and the only other person I have heard about it from, is some old guy in my Karate class. I didn't give it much thought but If she likes it, I should probably try and acquire a taste for it.

She just went to sleep, which is probably a good thing because I Definitely would have told her I am a huge fan too.

So what is it? Where can I get a dvd of it or something. Id like to impress her with some knowledge of her favorite show, who knows where it will lead.

It's a vaguely-Twilight-ish TV show. That's all I know of it.

Why not say that you've never seen True Blood, and suggest she come over and watch it with you? Sounding interested works just as well, and gets you a date night.

I just started watching true blood last night after my sister gave me the DVD for my birthday. I am enjoying it quite a bit, it grows on you.

Just tell her that you don't know it and that you would like to find out about it.

I haven't seen much of it but like others have said, it's an HBO show, that's like twilight if it had more adult themes, writing and decent vampires, from what I've seen it's basically "if twilight wasn't a complete piece of shit" not particularly good or bad IMO.

I've only seen a couple of episodes, it felt like a parody "Hey guys, this is what real vampires are like." Almost as though it was mocking the people who are extremely anti-twilight which amused me. I then realised it was serious and consequently found it pathetic.

For the record I don't like Twilight and I don't like people that bash it, I'm completely apathetic about the whole thing.

That's a whole nother story. I don't wanna go into too much detail but ever since I was a kid I always wanted to move their and live in the outback. Plus the Australian accent is almost therapeutic to me. It's.... Soothing... I live and have always lived in america.

True blood is a dark(?) vampire romance. It has somewhat nudity and a shit load of blood.

blood as in action and or violence or just blood because it's blood. Someone mentioned something about synthetic blood for drinking, like that or, "Fresh blood". (seeing it come out of someone)

basic idea is synethic blood means vampires no longer have to live in the closet

If I were you, before I tried to figure out what True Blood is, I'd just calm down for a second. If you want to learn about something she likes, that's good, but don't go distorting the truth over something so stupid. Lies bite you in the ass, the less of them you tell the better.

As for True Blood... the basic extent of my knowledge is that it's a vampire show that, I believe, originated on HBO.
