Finally, I almost subconsciously hum the Song of Storms on the odd rainy day.
Aha! Someone else in the world does that! I'm not insane, see? See?!

I've been wearing my hair in a pony tail more often after playing L4D...

I'm not sure that counts.
Oh, it counts.

I'd been doing it for years, but i narrate my own story like in Max Payne when i'm bored.

After a gaming session at my friends house, one of us usually text the other when we need to wake up and be alive. I will usually text with a quote from Warcraft 3.

"The sleeper has awakened"

"Our time is short"

Embarressing, I know.

I tend to spin my keys on my finger instead of a gun like Ocelot from MGS.

i spin my keys too but i have never played mgs ow well just a (very) old habit.
and i always flex my muscles when im sitting still for a long time probably got that from the random movements lots of video game caracters make when they stand still.
p.s. i only spin my keys because it makes a ching ching sound like your walking in cowboy boots or something.

i also occassionaly whistle the ffvii winning tune after i 'win' at sumthing
Ah, the victory fanfare! Yeah, I also do that, but I try not to use it too much, lest it lose its value. :)

I also noticed that when my hands are relaxed they fall into the same way Ocelot keeps his hands in MGS3 (index/middle fingers close together, and ring/pinky fingers close, but not Spock-like or anything). I also tend to use his salute, which uses the same finger configuration.
I haven't noticed the way he holds his hands, but I sure have used the hand gesture. Agains when saying goodbye to a fellow MGS3 fan.

I also go up and down stairs the same way Snake does. How he kinda just stays on his toes and if he's running down stairs the balls of his feet never touch the ground? It's just so much faster than lowering your foot all the way on every step.
Also guilty of this one!

I also have my own idle loop: Look to either side, pause, tap shoes, look to either side, pause, repeat.
Sonic?

By the way, I would like to note that I mostly do these things for myself, when no one is around (except the way of walking stairs, but I feel quite stupid when walking that way, admittedly). I'd hate for someone to ask what I was doing or where I'd got that particular gesture/melody/movement/tune from. (except the FFVII fanfare, it's a great 'video game/FF fan test', and if no one knows it, no harm done). How about you? Do you care if someone observes your quirks, or even inquires into them?

I kill and rape jogers like Eddie low in Gta 4. (joking)
Rape isn't funny.

Neither is necrophilia.
(Its not quite as offensive, but its really creepy when someone even jokingly says they'd do your corpse.)

Just like Revolver Ocelot in MGS3, I will sometimes do those hand gestures to psyche myself up.
Huh, thought I was the only one.

Actually I also do it to needle my best friend because he found the pose irritating

If I'm god, then why aren't you listening to me? Anyway, I find rape jokes to be very offensive, so lay off 'em.

Aliright no need to be a sarcastic ass, second bite me it was a joke! I don't find rape funny, I find Eddie Low funny. Also if you were raped or now someone sorry men can be impulsive monsters, you need to learn not to get in peoples fucking faces like that!

Srsly? Dude, that's fucked up. An arm pump or two finger salute is one thing... but that? I'm willing to bet it is often followed immediately by geeky laughter or social awkwardness, maybe an ass kicking.

As for adopting game character physical ticks, no, leave that crap for cos players, it is not cool and no one thinks it is.

I say a lot of "seriously!", trying to imitate the voice of whoever did serious sam. And an occasional "Saamus" from SS2, just for giggles (which I just so happen to say more then I'm willing to admit, but I got that one from the web itself).

"Sorry, but your princes is in another castle" is something I generally use to indicate it was a nice try, but nothing more.

A lot of max payne quotes come to mind, the best one being:
"Memories of my previous visit here lurked in the shadows". You'll be amazed how much you can actualy say that and totaly not sound like a dork.

Every once in a while at work my boss will tap me on the shoulder to give me an assignment at work and i'll respond like the peons from Warcraft 3 "Zug, zug" or if he's done it a few times today, "Poke poke poke, is that all you do?" or "Why don't you run your store instead of touching me"

good thing he's played the game, or he'd think I'm a lot more insane than he already does.
