So I sit down the day after Christmas infront of my screen. A pristine stack of games waiting to be played. Call of Duty 4 being one of them. I try to log in and Failure? What's this? Well you know what I understand. I am probably not the only person with a couple new games they want to play until their eyes bleed.
I understand, internet issues.
I didn't expect compensation. I've taken more crap from my internet connection with a smile on my face.
I was still overjoyed when I heard I would get a free game for my troubles. I felt... taken care of. Sure I knew they were only doing it to keep me happy so I would give them more money, but they were doing a fine job.
The post I read didn't have a specific date so I put it out of my head because I had finals to study for.
So 2 weeks later, finals are done, the ridiculous amount of workload that starts with a grading period is done with, and I look back online to see what happened with the free game.
Well I missed their glorious 4 day window. I'm sorry for having a life that I have to take care of.
I would've been perfectly happy to ignore all the outrages but Microsoft decided to shine a light on it so let's take a good look at what they've offered us.
