i see the (1) & think JOY! - Then i see the quote. The joy usually goes. =( - Ive lost count of the number of times ive been quoted & thought "ooohh" then see the qoute and think "well i didnt asked to be told why my opinion is wrong. ¬¬!Brad Shepard said:

But I sometimes go days without being quoted, yet when I joined, I was quoted at least once a day for about a month. Tis strange.
I really like being quoted, even if the person quoting me is talking smack about what I said. Every time I come to the Escapist and I see a notification of new messages it's almost like Christmas. What thread was I quoted in? What did they have to say? What will I have to say in response?

Normally I think, "Okay cool, someone noticed what I said." I've actually been getting a lot of quotes today due to trying to spark a revolution against Zynga in March Mayhem and by answering questions people are asking or by encouraging them to use the twitter/facebook votes.
I feel important for at least one moment in my life sniff sniff. When i see the 1 message in inbox my heart leaps with joy sometimes to be shattered with another meaningless badge.
In reality most of the people quoting me recently seem to not comprehend the point I'm trying to get across(possibly my own wording) or manipulating the idea so that it fits into the soapbox they want to stand on.

I love being quoted, it validates my existence on this planet... well, not really but I still like being quoted.
I love it. I just loving seeing the little red text and thinking "Oh God yes!"
Lets me know someone actually read what I said and I didn't just waste my time. It's why I barely ever post on the third page of something. I don't care if it's positive or negative, they could call me a baby eating douchenozzle who should die in a burning building and I'd think to myself "Hey! He/She read my post!" Then I realize they said I was a baby eating douchenozzle who should die in a burning building and get sad.
