"No matter how corrupt, greedy and heartless our gonvernment, our corporations, our media and our religious and charitable institutions may become, the music will still be wonderful."
"We have grown, but there is still much to be done. Many who live in darkness who must be shown the way. For it is the dawning of a new day."
"If there were no god, it would be necessary to invent him."

Almost any line coming from Christopher Lee in the Lord of the Rings movies, if that man's voice doesn't give you chills then you may need to have your ears examined
I loved the short story and the game of the same name. The way that the ending of the short story connected to the title gave me chills. The ideas behind the story absolutely perturbed me.
OT: A lot of quotes from Persona titles tend to give me chills
-"The more false images one yearns for, the more one stops yearning for reality..."
-"Humans ache to expose their suppressed sides, while the prying eyes around them are curious to see them laid bare"
-"Though life is merely a journey to the grave, it must not be undertaken without hope. Only then will a traveler's story live on, treasured by those who bid him farewell."
-"But tell me this; are you aware of the many and varied selves you harbor within you?"
-"No one wishes for the fog to lift. Why act against the wishes of your fellow man? Consider... is that truly just?"
I also love a lot of the quotes from the final battle in Persona 3. I have them all typed out for when I used to use them in my essays, with the appropriate tarot card (or arcana) each quote represented. (listed as a spoiler for space, and in case people think that quotes from a final boss are automatic spoilers)

Death awaits you.
Sorry for the long post; the Persona series is a goldmine for good quotes
"Every Bison dollar will be worth 5 british pounds, for that is the exchange rate the Bank of England will set once I've kidnapped their queen" -- M. Bison
"It's not just that wolf of his. The wolf just gets scraps. Bones. It's him. He... eats... people. He cooks them like they were steaks. Just like they were steaks. Now, he's got both of us."
-Lucille, Sin City
Easily the darkest, most disturbing part of the movie... Kind of freaky to read. Very freaky to watch.
"An oasis of horror in a desert of boredom"
-Charles Baudelaire
This is the quote that opens up Roberto Bolano's final novel, 2666. Contextually speaking, the quote resounds most whilst reading the 4th section of the book; one in which the details of hundreds of homicides in a fictional city in northern Mexico are presented to the reader. The quote in turn to me shows a deep seeded emotional complacency involving the willful ignorance of human existence in the 21st century. Every time I open the book and I see just that quote, I see apocalypse and the extinction of humanity as I understand it's most endearing and passionate qualities. That quote DESTROYS me.
Im going to go with the Oppenheimer quote. One of the most chilling quotes from anyone. You can literally here in his voice the horror he has witnessed.

'My teeth fell out again. The holes scream when I sleep.'
That's from a little flash game on Newgrounds called Time Fcuk. There's a weird undercurrent of..tumour..to that game. It;s hard to explain until you've played it.
It's annoying, because I know I have dozens of unsettling quotes from various sources, but I never seem to be able to recall them when the opportunity arises.
