Did anybody actually read the article in the link? The person didn't say the entire website disapeared. It said that amount of members dropped to near ghost town levels. Even when they checked the place themself they found a person or two. but just that.

I don't think the article specifically says the site was shut down. Something tells me the OP misunderstood the article. It actually says that Chatroulette's "cultural impact" has died out because of all the guys who flash their tools.
