I can't take it any longer, I've got a game on my mind but I've got no blasted idea what it's name was..
We had a demo for it like waaay back, it had graphics on par with games like Baldur's Gate. The game was an RPG and what I can remember of the game is the following

The Demo had 3 maps, I only know that the second map had a river going diagonally through it and there was a well in the left bottom corner but I'm not sure about the well. When you finished that map you got in a shop menu, there were all sorts of weapons, flails, morning stars and whatnot. The thing that I remember most is that there was one ridiculous looking helmet, it was the most shapeless helmet I have ever seen, it was like just a bucket with stuff so you could see through it.. There was pink metal as well, it was the better armour.
You could reset the shop by saving before it so you could find all different sorts of armour there.

Does anyone have any idea what game I am referring to? As far as memory serves me the name was something like Ring of Fire..

I take it this game was for PC?
Yeah, it was isometric but it was not as free as Baldur's gate and the like.
Not as free? Please elaborate. Do you mean... not as free in terms of character creation? Morality choices? Exploration?
