Racist Minority Groups?

You ever met someone which constantly promoted, and almost always complained or stated on how their kind is mis treated, yet they hated another group of people? and constantly brought them down? I'm basically stating hypocrites, people whom constantly wish as much freedom as the next guy, yet complain on anyone that's not in their group.

I dealt with this numerous times my self. One of the most disgraceful and pitiful of instances being that of a Big Game Hunter who apparently believed it was unfair that shooting ten animals every hour. Using a deceptive mating call. and those animals he shot not being consumed and just used for trophies. Was ilegalized.

Yet this same person believed Homosexuals should still receive the death penalty. So basically by far. I should be killed just because of a sexual preference, which harms no one *Well other then who evers in bed with me, but lets not get into that* Yet at the same time he saw shooting a lot of animals (which as I said earlier, he didn't even eat) was perfectly redeemable.

Did you ever deal with anyone in such a situation at least a tad bit relevant? and please state you're back ground.

P.S I don't mind hunting! I just hate Big Game Hunting! (and that's because of how much lives it takes away)

I know a few black guys that bring up the racist card if you even make a gay joke (i'm 15, anything smarter and no one will get it) but then go out and make fun of Asian people.

Kinda like feminazi's (different from feminists, look at the other thread) and people who care more for animals than people.

Heheh. I like animals, but I wouldn't say more then humans. I just believe that the living style of any living creature, or ethnic group should not be compensated. So basically I suppose you could assume I see those animals being shot by a big game hunter the same way as a human.

If I had a choice to save two humans or a dog wold I save the dog?

No, but not because I see humans superior. Only because their are more lives which I can help.

Oh and I have the exact same ting at my school. Say any non racist insult to a black guy and your suddenly a racist but if your actually being racist (against polish people and asians) no one gives a shit. I have little faith in the human race.

I truly do wish some of you would read the sentence at the top instead of rudely assuming I believe everyone in one ethnic group is racist. That's like saying I hate all gay people just because they hate gays.

I have a couple of gay friends who think Heterosexual kissing is just 'so wrong' and believe no man knows they're straight until they've 'had' them.

Funny story: I asked my sister, quite the feminist, to explain why it was fair that men and women should be equal in every right, but it should be the mother should be the default choice in a custody case. Surely if we had true equality, the gender of the parent wouldn't matter but the financial factor and who the child prefers. Of course, my sister went to some half-baked argument about some cultural thing, and I asked, if you were to cite cultural precedent a reason, then we should follow all cultural precedent... yeh, it didn't end well...

^^ Um, while I asked my sister that, I'm not sure whether this is still the case (whether mothers are still the default for custody cases). Would someone mind clearing that up for me? (through PM, as we wouldn't want to clear up the thread)

Many outspoken Muslim/Asian communities in the UK believe that they should have rights that even other minorities in the UK do not have, just because they have them in their countries.

Nothing comes to mind at the moment, but on a slightly similar situation recently a... the religion eludes me, but a sign of her religion was to wear a metal band on her wrist specifically called something. However her school stated that there was a no jewelery policy, so she couldn't wear it. She took them to court on discrimination charges (even though other religions couldn't wear their symbols) and won.

This wouldn't bother me usually but the fact that the school clearly wasn't discriminating and the repercussions for other people to claim that they should be able to wear what they want or do what they want in infinite... and scary.

Slightly off-topic but it has to bother you surely? Personally, I don't feel safe when I go out these days for fear of being attacked. But I guess things are different wherever you live.

Anyway, I have this friend whos parents are from Lebanese and hate Pakistanis. But apparently they were ridiculed for being Christians so I guess that could be justified.

I'm a bit reluctant to give examples, as I fear the Almighty Ban-Hammer.
But one of the most racist people I have ever known was black. He was also the most arrogant sunavabitch I've ever had the misfortune to spend time with.
He once asked me, out of the blue, who I thought was more attractive: Louise Nurding (now Louise Redknapp) from Eternal (only people over 20 in the UK will probably know who that is, but oh well), or Mariah Carrey.
I naturally picked Louise Nurding, since Mariah Carrey looks like a hamster, and is infamously a colossal *****. His response? "Oh what, 'cos shes a good-looking white girl?"
I naturally felt rather indignant about being accused of being racist on the basis that i didn't fancy Mariah Carrey. Especially considering I had no idea Mariah Carrey was in any way "ethnic" or whatever. He then proceded to try and convince me I was wrong, including the classic "Oh Maiah Carrey's got a better personality."
Sure she has.
