About two weeks ago I was introduced (by this website) to the Cee Lo Green song "Fuck You." Instantaneously I knew this song was lodged into my brain and I couldn't be happier. More recently I was listening to my favorite radio station when I heard a now familiar intro to a song that had been so heavily edited that they changed the title to "Forget You." I can understand why they did this, sort of, radio is still a big way for new music to reach the populace, and the FCC still has a cast-iron grip on cursing in media, but so much of the spark that was in "Fuck You" was hopelessly lost in "Forget You."
This isn't the first time I've preferred an original version to a radio edit, but this is the most glaring difference between the two songs, so it makes me wonder...
