I'm quite impressed to see that the street fighter series hasnt lost its ability to make me rage.
I picked up SF4 the other day, and i was getting almost as bad as when i was a nipper on super street fighter 2 turbo, shouting at the opponent ect. Although i managed not to plant my controller in the wall.
Other then that, i think the only times i have rage quit have been l4d sessions where it seems reasonably evident that the other team is hacking.

Several times ive just gotten so pissed off at videogames. I spent about ?500 on controllers, I have to quit because they break

I ragequit on TF2 a few days ago after every single time some guy saw me he got a stream of crit rockets. It was also a new account, on 360.

Haha yeah it was game breaking for a lot of people but I did it with some perserverance and once I had learned the pattern I was able to get through it a second time with slighly less tantrums.ColdStorage said:
Tf2. 2 forts. I was a scout and had capped the intelligence twice and was running back with the third intelligence and I arrived to realise that the rest of my team who where camping in our base defending had lost control and there where now 2 level 3 sentries, a pyro, a soldier, and 2 demomen who where spawn killing us. I died in my own base and after a few more attempts at getting the intelligence for the third capture I rage quitted because my team mates where useless enough to get us into that situation in the first place.

But I guess that's the beauty of the game really isn't it...
I've dropped out of several online games because of glitching / lagging on the other team... I remember playing Metal Gear Online and being shot through solid walls, or on Resistance 2 where one opponent kept phantom killing me from the FRONT because he was lagging so much.
Ninja Gaiden is the only game to piss me off that much, but i used all the hate i had built up to come back and pound the bosses that kept killing me, but i also lashed out at people outside of the game to, so no more Ninja Gaiden for me
I remember quitting in L4D once, because I was playing versus with infected...and against me were 8 survivor character, as in 4 players and 4 bots. It was nigh impossible to do any damage. Although I recently found a server that had a similar situation, but with other add-ons and I liked it...I guess it depends on my mood or something.
If I die like, very literally, 40 times in BF2, I'm likely to ragequit. Incompetent/stupid/griefing/TKing teammates also piss me off.

I got rather pissed at the conduit after clearing out a room full of aliens, recieved a message from that bald guy which, you'd think would indicate that all the enemies are waiting behind a door that is locked and therefore must be opened by the spinning symbol doo-hickey's on the wall. However as I;m magic-eyeballing it, I get shot in the back by some random soldier. Thinking he must be a random stragler I turn aorund and blow the crap out of him.
I turn back and start eyeballing the thingy again. I have most of my health at this point and I'm fine. Then someone shoots me in the back of the head or somthign and I die outright. And I get put right back in the middle of some fucking tunnel that is far too far away for my liking.

I also tend to get pissed off in mulitplayer games like Unreal tournament, Nexuiz or Savage 2 if I get killed over and over again and I don't seem to be able to do anything about it, or kill anyone else. That's really irritating.

Mostly when I'm alone. I've done it a few times in multiplayer, but only when the admins were abusing power, like killing me for using a weapon in an FPS or telling me to "GTFO" because their friend wanted a spot on a server. I do freak out though, but keep it to myself and others in the room.
