ever been playing a game that you find just impossable, then you die in the most cheapest way and you just go into a blind rage. i remeber back when halo 3 came out and a friend of mine rage quit after continualy dieing on legendary. after rage quitting, he punched the wall and broke his fingers!

OT: Yes, DBZ Budokai 2 on Adept. I suck. A lot. I think that was the hardest difficulty anyway.

I rarely quit whilst the game is going, I wait until the lobby then leave the server.

I usually never do unless there's an actual good reason to. Back in my guild wars playing days of continuously monking for noobs, I've had plenty of those moments.

I've quit in Halo 3 a few times because of my team, I could care less about the enemy team. Matchmaking usually sets me up with total idiots. Mostly my team is killing each other/themselves, quit, can't grab a flag, kill me when I grab the sniper rifle/rocket launcher/Spartan Laser...
If I don't get stuck with people like that, then I won't quit no matter how bad we're losing. I only quit when it's pointless to play.

I just ragequit about 10 minutes ago because Dawn of War. I had to hold a point for 7 minutes without the enemy capturing it, and I'd been trying for about half an hour, probably more. I had 20 seconds to go till victory and the fuckers took it, not impressed.

I have a key binded to almost all of my games that quits instantly, but I only use it when I've had enough, I'm not going to quit because I'm losing. It just means I can play one more life then when someone shoots me I can just press the button and leave.

I always think the person that shot me must feel like they really pissed me off with killing me and then me DCing instantly.

Definitely agree with this! There seems to be an awful lot of people out there who go out of their way to make playing Left 4 Dead an absolute nightmare! And for some bizarre reason, they always end up on my team. Running off on their own, not helping each other out when pinned, diving to their deaths off the side of cliffs, friendly fire, random kicking (I swear I got kicked the other day in versus because I'd almost single handedly beat the other team! Maybe I offended my team mates skills somehow?) and let's not forget the amazing skill of 'SHOUTING DOWN THE MICROPHONE'! (On a side note, why do I keep getting kicked out of lobbys because I'm not wearing a mic, when people that are wearing mic's never, ever, ever say anything constructive or helpful that the game doesn't already point out?)

Oh dear...I'm ranting now! I'm rage quitting this reply!

I've quit due to multiple losses in TF2 before, which could be construed as rage quitting. I haven't however, ever quit a game of left 4 dead. Even if we're getting ripped to shreds or the survivors won't let us get one hit in, it still feels fun.

I don't know if I'd count it as a ragequit, but usually I leave a game if my team is utterly incompetent. Like 7 snipers on offense in TF2.

As mentioned, N is a real rage-inducing game. The thing is that I want to both throw my laptop off my balcony AND try the level again.

OT: Yeah, but not too often, normally you can just vote scramble and you'll get some sympathy from the other team.

In other words, I was taking out a bunch of assasins until they made a formal "Kill Valate" team.

I try to be civil and play to the end of the matches in multiplayer, but the single player aspect of Blood Bowl drives me to the brink of insanity.
