Nope, this isnt about the emotion. It's about the stunningly amazing-looking game by id Software.

And I am wondering what your feelings for this game. And please don't say Rage. That should be illegal here.(hyperbole)

A couple things, then my opinion and then you get the reigns to this E-pony to the stars.

I know it's not "all-about-graphics" or w.e, Im in strong favor of that arguement, as in ill take a good mario game over a horrible eye-melting amazing game. I'm not saying anything here for or against that. Please keep that out, that's for another thread. which you can happily start with my blessing.

If they can make a good game and have amazing graphicals, then i say go for it, just don't comprimise story/gameplay/your mother. Because let's face it, no body wants to see gameplay get bent over a table in the efforts of the graphics card EXPLODING. And yes i realize all that stuff about the id engine, I'm saying this in an exempli gratia way.

Yes the game has a dome that B.P. should be jealous of, over the blood and gore. which gives it a Teen rating, if you need some fix on gore. Then you, yes YOU, are why large groups of people all across the globe believe gaming is bad for you, that's right, feel the shame.

My personal opinion is that this should be an amazing game.

It looks like it has ripped off taken a few pointers from Fallout and Borderlands. But if they spice up the levels a bit and avoid repetition, it could turn out to be a damn good game.

When I first saw it I had no interest. I have nothing against id Software, but I was never a giant, massive fan of their games. Probably because I didn't get into them when they first came out, or whatever. But... I love the environment. As much as it's been used, give me a desert wasteland, a gun, and a few thousand targets... and I'll probably love the hell out of the game. So now I'm keeping an eye on this one.

How does the multiplayer work, anyone know? Is it like Borderlands or something, or is it just deathmatch and the like?

It's kind of a wait and see.
If it's a good game, then the graphics are a bonus. If it's bad, then it'll be a disappointment.

The first thing I thought when I saw the screenshots was that it looked like Borderlands without the cell-shading.
That is either a good thing or a bad thing.

Oh man first Borderlands was copying FO3, and now every single thing ever is copying both. GET THE FUCK OVER YOUR FAVORITE GAMES, BOTH OF THEM HAVE TAKEN SHIT FROM GAMES BEFORE THEM! The original concept of Fallout was taken from Wasteland, for fuck's sake. At least say it copies something else, you stupid gits.

I'm excited for this one because I think id do a really good job with the "feel" of their gunplay and movement. Plus they've always innovated visually, so it'll be interesting to see their tech humming through outdoor environments for a change. Little concerned about the vehicle portions, which are easily the least entertaining bits of Borderlands. They should take another cue from Fallout 3 and implement quick travel.

Hopefully Id Software will honer its tradition of creating a very well balanced set of weapons. One of the greatest things about Id Software shooters is that there is typically a reason to favor a certain weapon over another depending on the situation. Hopefully Rage will be the same.

I hope so too.

Looks decent. Its screams Madmax, Borderlands and Fallout and all 3+ Id should make one hell of a game.
