RAGEQUIT!

So I was playing a new Minecraft world and returning from a succesful dig. A VERY succesful dig. 8 diamond, 11 gold, and over 20 iron. And then I fell into lava. So I RAGEQUIT! in a fury, thinking that I'd come back later. But I haven't been able to play it again. I'll start to run it, then remember what all my stuff looked like flying into the lava, then stop.

So, what this thread is about is "games you have RAGEQUIT! and have taken a long time to pick back up, or never picked back up again ever." Yeah.

Funnily enough, Spore lol. I conquered most of my section of the galaxy and hadn't saved for a while. The game froze and I raged. I raged hard. I still haven't gone back to the game.

I have had a similar experience with minecraft, something like that happened a few months ago, since then I barely play on normal difficulty, preferring easy or peaceful settings...

Other games where that has happened:
Torchlight-kept dying on one boss.
RE5- mercenaries mode frustrated me.

I'm not really a controller thrower, but I do get very annoyed.

I rage quit Castlevania: LoS a month ago, I got stuck on the 2nd titan boss. I haven't played it since.

You have no idea how much piss boiling, foaming at the mouth rage I go in when I see that all my progress toward my team has suddenly been eliminated, and that I really just helped fuel the frustration of undoing everything I just did with the people I was doing it against.

It can throw me off TF2 for days if I'm doing good enough.

Mass Effect 2 on insanity. I just came out of Mass Effect 1 on Veteran,and I didn't die once YET. My first recruitment? Archangel. I don't want him to die,so I leave Miranda with him,because she is a medium range fighter,with good anti-armour powers,plus the upcoming area is all CQB.

I go downstairs to the parking garage first...And promptly get my ass handed to me by EVERYTHING AND THEIR DOG-LITTERALY! So I ragequit,because Jacob can't seem to flank,even when given specific movement orders.

We all know the feeling. The worst bit is when you're in the final cutscene, after a hard boss, and then suddenly... ehh.

Only two games that I quit playing in the middle of for the past few years that I can remember. First is Yakuza 3. I got so damn tired of doing choirs for the orphans that I couldn't be arsed to continue after 10+ hours. The other was Brütal Legend. I knew it would start sucking when the RTS elements appeared, but I figured it would be easy trophies...
Damn it was awful.
