It happens every once in awhile, you end up at odds with someone who is irrationally angry over a non-existent issue, or more emotional toward small issues than is necessary. My particular case today, which I feel like I need to vent, was a bit of excessive road rage.
So I'm at a stop sign behind a car that takes a bit of time to go ahead, which is fine. That's the sole purpose for the signs existence, after all, making sure you look and think before blindly flying down the road. The car ahead of me moves off into the distance, I proceed to reach the white line so I can see if anyone's coming the other direction (which, by the way, has no stop sign, so I'd of been stupid not to be sure before moving).
Almost instantaneously as I hit the line, the car behind me blares its horn, and only taking about two seconds to make my turn, I look back in my rear view to see a young woman flipping me off with one hand and waving me out of the way with the other. Clearly my two to three seconds tops of obstructing her path was an eternity of inconvenience, and she was within her rights to be, and I'm putting this softly, rude. Her self worth was evidenced by the Bluetooth headset hanging off her ear, and my insignificant existence was vexing to her.
Now that it's off my chest, I wanna hear about your altercations with the emotionally impaired. No matter what rage it is, it's good to acknowledge that it exists and we aren't living alone in the sea of unjust hostility. If you have no story to share, feel free to comment on mine, who knows, I may have been in the wrong of that situation.
