what do you guys think of them?

right now I'm currently playing resident evil umbrella chronicles and I can honestly say I like it strangely enough.
I never really liked rail shooters but playing this one I realized their actually pretty fun.

if only I had another wiimote then I could shoot two guns hah.

I like the House of the Dead series, but rail-shooter sections in non-rail shooter games is kinda annoying.

Rail shooters are OK at best on the consoles
Arcade rail shooter are fun because they utilize the full potential of the rail part of the shooter

Exactly, rail shooters are great at the arcade, but get sloppy in other areas of gaming. Me and a friend spend $10 each on a SWAT Commando game or wat ever it was called, it was like 50 cents everytime you died so do the math. It was funny because there was this little kid wanting to play and we just started screwing with the guy, going aww i have no more money (my friend). Then I would hand my friend some money and keep playing.

House of the Dead: Overkill was a surprisingly awesome game that was good enough to keep my attention for the whole play through which is pretty rare for me.

Well I think that one should be renamed "Hogan's Alley: Zombie Style."

House of the Dead was classic though.
