Random, basically insignificant question

So I've been joining the adult world in the last few years, and the question I have is to do with hair colour. When asking what colour people prefer (generally men of women in this case) everyone always asks "blonde, brunette or redhead?" And this upsets me and leads to my current question. What's wrong with the blackies like myself? Granted I'd allow any girl can look attractive in any colour depending on other factors, but if I had to give my preference it'd be black hair all the way.

Why there's such a fandom of tanned blondes is another mystery; I've always been much more of a fan of flawless white skin and black hair, but the question I want to ask here is why is black hair always left out? Is it because less people like black hair? Is it because adding four options makes it sound less elegant? Is it because the immediate option for black hair that jumps to mind is "black head", which doesn't quite give the right impression? What do you think?

I don't have a preferred hair color. Some women just look better with certain hair colors. It's really a case by case basis.

For instance, I don't have any particular fondness for blondes, but if I see a woman I'm attracted to with blonde hair, I'm not gonna back off just because she's blonde.

I admit I rarely hear people say they just prefer black hair, but I do often hear people who just say they prefer dark hair.

Anyways, I'm not sure to the answer of your question. Perhaps black hair is a minority, or maybe people sometimes find it hard to tell the difference between brown and black hair.

As I said, it's not a huge deal and any (natural) hair colour can look good (I just say natural because there are some pretty random colours which may be a lot harder to pull off) and it's definitely not enough to be a game-changer, but just aesthetically I like contrast. For me that means the most attractive is white skin, black hair and vivid coloured eyes

EDIT: personally I don't get people's obsession with asses; I'm a huge fan of boobs but I really don't get the ass-fetish most other guys seem to have. Sure they're nice, but frankly I don't really have an opinion of what's better or worse so long as it's in proportion to the rest of her body

I do generally prefer whites and latinos over blacks and most asians tbh. Vivid coloured eyes are nice but I'm not picky in that department.


If you don't understand the love for the ass then nothing I can ever say will change that.

By evolutionary standard it is most basic, mainstream colour. The rest are mutations - supposedly making one more attractive in the eyes of potential mating candidate. It seems that deep down we're simply fed up with something that was around for thousands and thousands of years...
...But worry not. We're past the point of following our instincts alone. Plenty of people do not give a damn about hair colour. Heck, i'd go out with completely bald girl if she'd be interesting enough. :]

I think most people group black hair and brown hair together since they are both on the dark side. So when people ask they are really saying "light, medium or dark" hair.

I've always like dark hair and light colored eyes on a guy.

Personally couldn't care less for hair colour.

Also I think the fandom for tanned blondes stems from celebrities and media, also it has been stereotyped that blondes are thick and are easy (not my opinion!).

The only people who ever asked me this question was female friends who were determined to hook me up with someone that night. Apparently they figured guys' sexual preferences boil solely down to hair color..?

I have a guy friend who wont date (natural) red heads because his past 3 "i'm really in love with her" relationships were with redheads and they all ended badly. So now he just avoids dating a redhead even if he finds them attractive lol.

It is odd what part physically people are attracted to. Like one of my best guy friends has a thing for girls with small ankles. Doesn't care about breast or butt size but if her ankles aren't small then he can't find her attractive. Another friend can't date anyone with what the consider bad teeth. So I guess there are some people out there who might be turned on more by a certain hair color?...or even turned off by another color.

I like black hair but it depends on the style too. Betty Page is my favorite raven-haired lady (raven-haired = black hair, right?). Red head is a close second...I like wild colors though like blue and purple.

Personally, I've always had a thing for redheads, regardless of gender. However, I ended up with a cute-as-hell half-Korean guy with nicer hair than I could ever hope to have. I don't think he believes me when I tell him girls would pay damned good money to have that kind of rich, black color.

I've dyed my hair nearly every color of the rainbow, natural and unnatural, and even shaved it off once when I processed it to the point of it falling out on me. But I think attractiveness is more a mixture of physical features one may find hot and personality attributes. After all, I'd hate to have ended up with a stunning ginger to find out they're, y'know, the reincarnation of Caligula or something.

Blonde, brunette and redhead just covers the classic eurocentric stereotypes... black hair is generally considered covered under brunette.

Personally, my only strong preference for hair color is not dyed another natural color. Bottle blondes and brassy redheads turn me off, and most women who dye it black wind up looking almost as bad (unnatural, almost like a mannequin, especially with heavy makeup).
Aside from that, whatever your natural color is most likely fits your complexion best, and if you want to go with stripes of outlandish colors or something similar... as long as there's some art to the presentation, that usually looks quite nice as well.

I can see how someone might want to avoid reoccurring physical features due to a negative association with them. I won't ever understand your ankle friend though lol.

Yeah, I get this. Time was, blonde was rare and so it really drew people in as a rarity. Now so many people "go blonde" because it's considered the simplest route to "attractiveness".

Blonde has become the standard, and when I think of someone who's really hot, I think of someone who stands out. Blonde hair isn't going to stand out as the hottest if it's become the standard.

That leads into the mass fixation on redheaded girls that I admit I am a part of. Not obsessively, it's just a head turning feature.
