Today I realized that my recent health kick that has lasted for 2 and a half years now was prompted by a single facebook post making fun of the P90X guy. That got me interested in getting healthier with exercise and actually understanding what I was eating. Thanks to that I have felt so much better in general and cannot ever think about going back to the unhealthy habits I had before.

So the question is, have you ever done something major in your life for a pretty small or even stupid reason?

The biggest reason I joined the Army was to impress a girl .... who I never saw again after I joined.

Nope. I've pretty much coasted by my entire life up to this point. Doing nothing is a hard habbit to drop.

I read an article on io9 about wheat products being bad and white bread makes your blood sugar spike

so I switched to gluten free bread and stoped eating as many wheat products

I also started eating peanut butter from th jar because I saw it in the movie "meet joe black"

You and me both friend, I haven't made any big decisions lately (except getting a part-time job, which I finished up)
Huh, now that you mention it, I suppose there has been one random choice that led to a big change fairly recently. I went North for my cousin's wedding and, while there, my brother told me that his boss was looking for employees and that he could pretty much guarantee me a job. Since I really needed one, I accepted, and now I live in completely different town five-hundred miles away.

I'm not really going anywhere...I'm just coasting along too, but I did decide to try and get better and drawing/art again...its not really much and may not get me anything in the future but its somthing at least,

Already read that one, and I'm afraid it did nothing for me.
