Random Escapist Encounters.

People are scared of this so called internet where I live, the most they are capable of doing is posting things on Facebook, so no one I've seen wears Escapist gear

I wear the "Charismatic Stallion" shirt, so I seek others out. Whilst talking about the shirt, however, I found a fellow ZP'er when they looked over at me in recognition. Turned out he worked with me. Then we found several other Escapists...including a girl from my old area I hadn't talked to in years.

I randomly found one (and therefore the another) on youtube once. I still have no idea how I ended up finding them, but I did... their videos are slightly strange.

Me? I've never seen anyone with a ZP shirt or any other Escapist merchandise around here, but I've seen a person logging on to the Escapist, his name is Fellwarden and we've been friends since, err, always.

I mentioned ZP to my friend while standing in line to a metal fest. The guy behind me was like "Fuck yeah, I love ZP!". It surprised me, because I hadn't realised how big ZP actually is by then.

I've seen someone random walking around with that 'Stonking Great' ZP t-shirt, in the strip district, in Pittsburgh once. lol. Other than that, I haven't seen anything. One of my best friends always wants to get a shirt though, so whenever he gets that, I can add it to my list.

Hm, I know many found The Escapist due to ZP, but how did everyone find ZP? I was never under the impression Yahtzee had as many fans as that.

Probably from G4tv. For a while they were airing snippets of ZP and linked them from the Escapist. Thats how I found it.

I think I actually stumbled across one of his games completely randomly years ago, whilst searching for something else on a website I believe is called nordinho.net. From there I found his website, and then the rest is history.

Random occurrences are interesting in that way.

I met some random people on a karate camp from a completely different part of my country who loved ZP.(I live in one of, if not the, biggest city in Africa.) Although I only know one fellow escapist, and that is because I made him join. He isn't big into discussion like I am, so he barely has any posts and isn't likely to get many more. I need to clone myself...
