You know, I respect you the most on these forums by far above anyone else....

I was hoping someone would call out my BS synopsis for a game... Yes it's true Rainbow Six: Rogue Spear was the best game ever made! Good call sir, good call.

How's this for a game idea? It's building cities. Lay roads, zone land, set up police and fire departments, provide electricity, keep crime, pollution, and such at bay, make sure there's affordable housing for all segments of society, and do all this within a tight budget because raising taxes will make people move out of town.

It'll be fun if there's a renegade mode. You get to be a tyrant, close all borders, let the infrastructure collapse, spend more than 20% of the GDP on military expenditure and stage mock trials and public executions for *ahem* 'teh lulz'.

EDIT: Also, the renegade path would have a much more awesome ending. While playing nice will give you the arbitrary 'and they lived happily ever after', my version would be more poignant as the citizens finally rise against you and run you out of town (the last phase being based on survival) and on escaping alive the game gives you a final '<color=red>YOU LIVED' screen.
