I wanted to see a thread where a person can just post something odd, unique, exciting, or otherwise interesting that happened to them recently. Then everyone can have fun discussing it. Or not have fun discussing it.

Today (well yesterday, since it is 3:45am)


I hit a bird on the freeway today- I live in Washington. This was either a crow or a raven either way fairly good sized birds. The bird swopped down in front of my truck, flew back up over the hood and windshield then I heard a loud thud on the roof. The bird hit the back of the roof of the truck and left a decent sized dent.

It might sound cruel but I also had to shoot a coyote as well today. The animal was aggressive, not showing any signs of fear or a willingness to back off, the most abnormal behavior I could imagine from this animal.

I find it odd (after the fact) that I thought the bird hitting the roof was funny, but felt bad about killing the obviously problematic coyote.

Nope, would have been hard to get the bird as it happened on the freeway.

The coyote may very well have been rabid. I did not bother to check. Just called the maintenance company to tell them I shot it. They sent out a crew to clean it up, and get it checked. They have to report rabid animals or something.

I have been playing Fallout 3 lately, and there have been many moments that left me screaming "DAMN IT, NATURE, STOP HACKING!".

First, what the hell is with "Giant" Radscorpions?
The normal Radscorpions are technically "Giant" in comparison to a normal scorpion, so why make them bigger?

Second, FUCKING FIRE ANTS!

Third, I stumbled upon a glitch involving a "Flying" Deathclaw. At first, I had begun to think that Deathclaws could jump.......Think about how freaked out you would be if you saw a Deathclaw jump at you. Also, what exactly is the reason behind Deathclaws? Did Satan say "Oh, well, they are already in a nuclear Apocolypse, so lets send them a happy little present!".

EDIT: Wait, is this still a thread about posting random stuff?

EDIT 2o you now where I can find said coyote/bird? I'm interest in seeing if I could still harvest their souls....Also, I might have misunderstood the beginning of the thread. Damn this summer and its making me tired at the worst times.

Ok. I was just about to say "What? Coyotes in D.C.?" but all is good now.

The coyote was being a ***** and the crow wasn't your fault. Not much you could do about it.

I was out walking the other day in the country, and was stopped by a herd of demonic, bloodthirsty cows. They were right near the path to start off any way, and I cautiously approached them remembering hearing a story of how some guy had been charged by a cow in Scotland and had had his arm broken. Then they started getting nearer to me to seemingly block the way; managed to get past the main group, but then there was one off on its own, where I was headed, that started mooing and the whole rest of the herd of about 20 started apparently coming to its aid against me. I began thinking that if they charge me, I'm either going to have to jump into the river or attempt to run to an adjacent field, which seeing as I was about 200m away from either adjacent field I didn't think I would make in time. So I had to turn back :S

I think this answers my question...
Also, that sound like 300......but with cows.....2x Epic-ness.......because everything is more epic if cows are involved.

Infamous has made me increasingly concerned about my stance on morals. This woman asked me to help her husband who had been taken hostage... So I ran in there and killed everyone for her. She came up to me and said "thank you so much for saving my -" and before she could finish I flung her up into the air and SHOT HER IN THE FUCKING FACE :S haha.

i had a bunny dart out in front of my car and got runned over. like two weeks ago. otherwise the most excitement will be this weekend. i work fri and sat from 12a-8a and sat i will be up before 10 to go to disneyland and going to disneyland fri....i love disneyland concerts......sleep deprivation will be fun driving home sunday. we will see if i make it to church....

I was on the bus going home from work yesterday when I saw this guy sitting across from me.

He must have been approaching 50, was overweight, wearing an orange shirt and had several biros in his shirt pocket, he had round perscription glasses framed by grey curly eyebrows and slighty puffed cheeks.

His hair was short grey and curly, seemed oil and for some bizzare reason he was carrying a lot of shiny plastic bags, slightly larger than A4 seemingly empty.

....

Seeing him was like a trigger. He looked like a caricature of a human being, a cartoon version of himself. He looked a person constructed from symbols of thought, made of labels.

All of a sudden my eyes seemed to go into focus and everyone I looked at on that bus became a caricature of themselves, their features and mannerisms symbols of human traits, becoming labels.

This is all kind of hard to explain, but I think this is the general gist of it.

Yeah it was pretty strange.

I'll update when I think of some sort of resolution to this .... puzzle.

I am in in-house quarantine due to swine flu.
I don't have the flu and it is extremely unlikely I came into contact with anyone that has it; I am just obeying the government like a good citizen.

Last time I ever travel to Melbourne...

Disney LAND is Anaheim Disney WORLD is Orlando.

Irregardless of MOST people not knowing that, Anaheim the original Disney. Since it is 50 miles from my house.
