(Haven't posted in awhile so I thought I'd ask here)

Would anyone know how to embed a youtube video so it starts at a specific time?

I'll give it a try.
Nope. "Copy url at current point" doesn't work.

Here's a method that does work, however:
Embed the video normally in your post.
Click the preview button and skip to the point of the video that you wish to link to.
Click the video window. This will open the video in youtube in a new tab.
When the youtube tab opens, quickly press F6 followed by Ctrl+V.
You've now copied an url that looks something like this:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YPsd5BhDNu4&feature=player_embedded#at=261
Embed as you normally would:

Wait...
Fuck. Turns out that doesn't work either. I'm out of ideas.

Ah, okay.
But if all you want is a link, you can just right-click the video and find "copy url at this point"
Or something like that. Basically, there's a function to just directly copy an url that links to the current point in the video.

Found it, thanks for the idea.

Well, this is news to me. I'll keep this thread bookmarked if it ever comes up for myself I need to do this.
