I liked 7 it was over hyped for me though and didn't live up.

But I'm considering I'm about to start playing V and IV, and I'm thinking about going back and giving XII another go since it's been years since I played it and I might actually like it this time, those rankings will probably change. I have no interest in XI or XIV.

1. Crystal Chronicles

Other than that, I hate Final Fantasy. It's one of the most overrated game series that I have seen, and I can barely say that I like more than Crystal Chronicles. Of course, the only reason I like Crystal Chronicles is because it's not like a normal Final Fantasy game.

I suppose I could rate IV and X as numbers 2 and 3, respectively, but that's a seriously big stretch.

1. VII - Love it to death. Materia system was excellent, story was good and it had Vincent "Tall Dark and Moody" Valentine in it.

2. VI - Amazingly good story, characters and villain. Kefka sealed my fear of clowns for good, and the opera Aria is one of my favourite pieces of music of all time.

3. IX - A throwback to the earlier job systems, lovely to play and lovely to look at. Also had a protagonist a bit more upbeat than the previous ones, which made a nice change.

1. 4 - "Give your Power to Meteor!".
I loved the story, I also enjoyed tge fact that party members would come and go as the plot required, so I was able to see who I liked, and Take them along for the final battle. That and Kain Highwind!

2. 12 - "I play the leading man"
Despite the bland-ass main characters (Vaan, Penelo, Fran) I very much enjoyed this game! Because of the challenge, even at level 99 the stronger monsters still pose a significant threat, I also like the fact its makes you WORK for the ultimate equipment.

3. 6 - Kefka! Dancing Mad, Terra/Tina, Suplexing a train, Ultros, The Opera, need I say more?
