Rare Games: Have you found/bought any recently?

Silent Hill 3 and 4 for about $20 each. It was a good find.

Not sure if it counts but MGS3:subsistance.

It's a usually expensive game and I got it for a still rather hefty £42, I don't think it was that much on release.

Project Zero (Fatal Frame for those not in the PAL territories). £10 from the CEX website, actually. If it's in good condition when it arrives I think I'll get the third game from there too since it's pretty rare. They don't have the second available to sell.

I also remember looking for Tales of Vesperia over a year ago and ended up shelling out £45 for a brand new copy, the same with Persona 4 (I got it right after finishing Persona 3 so was desperate to get it while I could).

You found persona 4 Pal version? you lucky son of a... I would buy a PS2 if I can ever find that game.

I've got the xbox version of project zero 2 so I've got one up on you aswell.

I have RPG Maker 2, RPG Maker 3, and Haunting Ground for PS2. I suppose you could consider those rare, seeing how after I bought them I pretty much never saw them again.

A couple months ago at most I grabbed Conker's Bad Fur Day off of eBay. Before that was Blast Corps, also on the N64. Trying to find the original Worms on the Playstation. Missed out on a few cheap copies, sadly.

Yeah, but like I said, I paid through the nose for it. I just didn't want to wait for it to get more expensive.... It was worth it, though - I love those games. It was brand new of course - I wouldn't have paid that much for anything second hand. I also didn't need to get a PS2 because my PS3 is backwards compatible, something that makes it almost priceless to me. If it ever breaks I don't know what I'll do

My biggest regret in gaming is not buying Conkers bad fur day 64 when I had the chance.

I don't know if they are particularly rare but I finished my first year of uni and after cleaning out my room forgot that i had left my ps2 with my old copies of tekken and crash bandicoot in the kitchen of course i figured this out when i got home and started unpacking, i wasn't best pleased.
