[http://popugamer.com/review/?id=763]Pros: Raskulls really brought me back to those old school Super Mario World days, where a little humor and cuteness goes a long way. The game was really fun, and for just $10, it's a great deal too.

Raskulls is setup similar to SMW, in that you progress through different worlds via a top-down map, unlocking paths with each level you beat. The basic premise of the game is that you are trying to get the skull gems before the evil rats get them (weird, I know), and you have a zapper that allows you to zap through blocks to get through levels. There are a handful of game types that each level falls under, and most are some form of racing (either against competitors or just to beat the clock) while some are more puzzle-esque (creating block shapes or using as few "zaps" as you can). All of these games are really simple and fun, and Halfbrick does a good job of mixing things up and not letting you get bored, which can be a danger with just a handful of game types. Somehow, though, they're able to make every level fun and exciting, and different in some way.

The way the levels are structured are super conducive to REPLAY! That's an awesome part of the game, and a huge reason why $10 is a steal. As you beat some of the levels, they may become a new level with more challenges that you can play again. Also, there are certain levels that rank you against your Xbox Live friends who have played Raskulls, so you can replay levels and compete to be at the top of the leaderboard! Another great replay aspect is the fact that you earn medallions as you progress through the game, but when you beat the game, you might not have collected the maximum number of medallions. You can continue playing and go back and unlock various stages or challenges you may have skipped.

The story line of Raskulls is pretty hilarious, and the dialogue is at times ridiculously funny! From the King Raskull who is in love with himself to the Raskulls Duck who speaks wike dis, or the Raskulls Ninja who likes to steal everything in sight!! HAHA, there are just way too many funny and cute characters. And I like how the game is a bit self aware as well (pointing out that the Raskulls have no idea why they need the skull gems in the first place).

Overall this game is money, and if you liked Super Mario World or the New Super Mario Bros, you should definitely enjoy Raskulls too!

Cons: I don't have many cons for this game! At the end of the game I wished that it were longer and had more than just 3 worlds, but alas I guess for $10 I can only expect so much!

I also thought it would have been nice to have more game types that had more depth (many of the levels can be beaten in just a few minutes), but again, this is where price comes in. $10 only gets you so far!

I wasn't able to take advantage of many of the multiplayer aspects of the game, as none of my friends on Xbox Live have played this game! So that was a bummer, but not much of a "con".
