Razer Megalodon Headset, Help me out?

So ive got this new headset http://store.razerzone.com/store/razerusa/en_US/pd/productID.169420200/parentCategoryID.35096300/categoryId.40856100 and it just does not want to work as well as it should. Microphone has a huge amount of static, and I dont think that suppose to happen. So if anyone knows anything on how to fix this, please let me know much appreciated
