I have came at a dead end in my gaming recently. Just finished Dragon Age II, and don't really have anything to play after that. Played all my current games to the death. Nothing I want from the used games rack, until i notice something. Huh, Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock for $20, Guitar Hero 5 for $20.

Now I really liked Guitar Hero when it first game out. I was wondering how these new games stacked up with the older ones. GH II and GH III specifically. Turns out, I think Warriors of Rock is the best Guitar Hero game in the series. Fantastic songs and awesome new features. As well as a well polished presentation. Since then, I have played probably a little too much Guitar Hero.

So I am wondering, what games/ games series have you "re-discovered" and then continued to play for hours and hours on end, even though you have mastered it and beat it several times?

Bayonetta. I beat it once, thought it was ok but didn't really compare to Devil May Cry. Now it's my favourite beat-em-up style thing and my beloved Devil May Cry 4 comes second. Fallout 3 too and by extension every sandbox game ever, I never liked them before cause I prefer exploring as in finding secrets and stuff not as the whole basis of gameplay. Changed when I decided to mess around with getting top lockpick and top science really early on so I wasn't cockblocked by level 100 doors.

Well, I recently had just cause 2 repaired. I think i've been playing it exclusively for the past 3 days. So yeah, I'd call it rediscovered. Hell, I just like doing crazy stunts. Do I need any other reasons?
