There was a rather deceiving thread recently http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/18.205345-ALTERNATIVE-legends that a few people (including me) thought was going to be about different takes on myths such as the lesser known versions or maybe what would of happened if say

when Achilles goes to war on roller skates instead of in a chariot.

This thread is for the discussion of this *rather more interesting* topic.

So please share the variations you have heard or maybe something different about a classic myth that you have changed.
