As funny as this type of thing is, I think it's rather absurd that people are calling him a super hero. Hero? Fine. But super? I'm aware that the label is often extended to people who don't have any real super powers, but rather, are simply unnaturally skilled or have lots of gadgets.
This guy is a vigilante with a costume that probably does more to hinder than help.
I've heard about these types of "super heroes", but from what I've heard I was under the impression that they mostly just help out the community and act as a visible patrol, rather than attempt to stop crimes in progress. It seems like kind of a waste of time for vigilantes to attempt to stop crimes, since unlike in fiction, in real life you don't have the convenience of an author putting the character in the right place at the right time to intervene.
Either way, good on him, I guess. As long as he doesn't cause trouble he can take on the persona if he wants.
