Melvin grinned at Denton and Gary. "No. I'm not handing this over. This will be...safe with me." He gave a few more chuckles. "And just in case you try something..." He looked at his Kadabra, who nodded and focused his psychic energy. It did seemingly nothing except surround Kadabra in a purple aura, but Denton and Gary couldn't move at the moment, purple outlines on them. "Be thankful that's all I can do right now. Helios, let us be on our way." He started to walk towards the exit of the gym with his Kadabra still holding Gary and Denton in place and hovered after Melvin. Florence and his Haunter walked with him.
Alucard, however, wasn't about to give up on the gem. "Hand us the gem and you'll be relatively unhurt." he said with his hand out.
Melvin chuckled and turned around. "You're forgetting who has the gem, who has the power. I may not be able to use my own powers, but I reckon I can still use this gem here to harm you somehow. Or at least stop you. So just stand back. We're leaving." He kept walking away from the others.
"Fine. If that's the way you want it to be..." Alucard figured he had at least the basic powers of a vampire, and as such, could run at high speed. He ran towards Melvin, who wasn't quick enough to turn around and prevent Alucard from grabbing the gem. "Give that back here!" Melvin said displeased. "And why should I? You're not the kind of person one would trust with this. I believe our own Shadow should get this. But for the moment, I'm keeping it. And I figure that, no matter how much power your pet has, it wouldn't be able to stop me and the rest of B.O.B." He gave a salute and a grin. "We're out of here." He ran out the door of the gym, with Seras close behind.
"Grrrrr! Kadabra! Stop them!" Melvin ordered Kadabra, who teleported to Alucard and Seras. "Kadabra!" he said and tried to stop them with his psychic power, but Seras turned her arm into a comical mallet and punted Kadabra into the air, who somehow flew high up and with a blink in the sky, he was gone.
