Before I start, I"d just like to register that this is a bit more of a rant than anything else.

Okay, In Call of Duty: World at War, There's a way to get under the map "Castle" by runny at a wall for anything from a few seconds to several minutes. Now, when this happens online in Team Deathmatch, or Headquarters or shit, It's annoying and breaks the whole match, but that just makes you pity the perpetrator for needing glitches to be any good at the game. But when people try this in a 2 minute long round of Search and Destroy, it kinda pisses me off. I have no idea why, I just get irritated by their fierce dedication to cheating.

Okay, rant over. Anyway, has anyone else seen an act of total futility that just bugged them?

Well... I would say that the most aggravating thing was in Starsiege: Tribes, in a painball mod, when someone found a wall they could see and shoot through, but couldn't get shot through themselves. They at there for four rounds before the admin kicked them.

YA RLY.
What annoys me a lot in Far Cry 2 is when the AI magically gets inside a rock, and is able to shoot you, even though you have no way of knowing where the shots are coming from and aren't able to shoot him back. Sit Ubi, sit. Good dog. *woof*

Well, Half-Life 2 really pulls off those kinds of feelings while still making it possible, fun and exciting. Ravenholm with your first encounter of Fast Zombies, the beach of Nova Prospekt, Battle for the Horses Statue and the Zombie Tunnel, for examples.
