I'm just sayin'...

Ummmmm .... lets forget that it's White Wolf that own all IP concerning Vampire: the Masquerade (in the same way Obsidian and Bioware don't own D&D and they have to seek permission to use their materials and likenesses)....Hobo Steve said:I am talking about the fan remake not having enough crew. I don't want the douchebags at Activision to remember they even have the IP. They would kill the remake and release some half assed version that would force me to strangle Kotick with his own intestines.Loki Cain said:They're too busy milking Call of Duty for all its worth witch is a lot.Hobo Steve said:http://www.bloodlinesresurgence.com/Loki Cain said:Perhaps a revamp of vampire the masquerade.
If only they had more crew to work on it.
It sucks but I honestly doubt we will ever see another VTMB. Quality writing like that is exceptionally rare and no one will take a chance on it anymore. Or it will be given to hacks who over play the sex angle of it and it will come out a trumped up harlot with no soul and dead eyes...
Back to World War 2, i hope.Zaldra said:ok lets say that MW3 is the best game ever and will be a gem for years and years to come (which in my opinon it wont) they wont realese any more single player campains after this because its bloody world war 3! where can you go after WW3? call of duty in space?! (also sorry for my spelling)
Nope, CCP has the world of darkness franchise which they are making a mmo about.ThisIsSnake said:Wait I thought CCP had the rights to Vampire the masquerade now and were just ignoring it to focus on Dust 514 and EVE Online, basically just using it to sue david heath.
It would be an absurd world where a major corporation stops making the fastest selling game of all time to make one for a relatively small fanbase.
Except Fast and Furious is undisputedly shite and has been for a while, while the Modern Warfare series is actually pretty decent (Black Ops didn't have a Modern Warfare tag on it and wasn't... well, modern warfare), especially considering it's (first and foremost) a multiplayer game and therefore open to reviewing more as a sport than a piece of art, focusing on updating the game, rather than doing something new. Really, it's no different than an MMO in that respect and I don't think anyone here complained about the release of Cataclysm, yes, it's more of the same, but that's what expected of the genre.Loki Cain said:ok someones going to bite my head off for this... First off World War 3 really, if World War 3 happens there will be no out right fighting with guns, Its going to be either "BOOM BOOM BOOM World destroyed" (nukes) or "TYPE TYPE TYPE dark ages" (hacking). Second another call of duty really, because its not like they have been milking that series for about 3 years now already. Its the same reason we got a fast and furious 5 and why we are getting a fast and furious 6, The same reason we have so many saw movies, come on Activision Stop with the call of duty and take a chance with something new. Perhaps a revamp of vampire the masquerade.
Sorry, the level design and pacing of Black Ops was ridiculously bad compared to Modern Warfare 2, and the level design, pacing, and all around script quality of MW2 was shit compared to World at War and Modern Warfare 1.KafkaOffTheBeach said:Nope.Andy of Comix Inc said:It has been... dwindling in quality. And by "dwindling," I mean... spiraling downwards.
The quality has remained pretty much the same, apart from in the storytelling - which only fluctuates slightly between the intense, mature storytelling of CoD4 and WaW, the balls out FUCK EVERYTHING of MW2 and the very Manchurian Candidate-esque Hollywood thriller narrative of BLOPS.
The multiplayer - despite some basically cosmetic changes - has remained the same.
The gameplay mechanics have remained exactly the same.
The problem is that stagnation of those major elements, and we have become ludicrously overexposed to it. CoD has become far more than a game, its a cultural phenomenon on an incredible scale - and Activision will keep on making it because they know that they have found a formula that has tapped into the basic primal instincts of people that will make them keep on buying their one game over and over and over again.
Its kinda sad really.
Interesting ... how will they handle torpor I wonder ;DThe Stonker said:Nope, CCP has the world of darkness franchise which they are making a mmo about.ThisIsSnake said:Wait I thought CCP had the rights to Vampire the masquerade now and were just ignoring it to focus on Dust 514 and EVE Online, basically just using it to sue david heath.

A horror MMO!
Wistful thinknig, but this will never happen. Also, World War 3 will never happen. Full stop. Nuclear deterants has made it impossible for the whole world to go to war. It will NEVER happen.Loki Cain said:Stop with the call of duty
