Yes, I know there may well be a previous wierd glitch forum topic, but this one I believe is different, at least because I am going to provide a different example
Also I couldn't find the old one...
Anyway, onto my glitch example: Playing Assasins Creed just today, coming up to the final assasination mission. Now, I don't know if this is usually quite glitchy, but what has happened with me so far...
1. Enter into area, on a horse. At first, all seems fine, gallop down until you are forced to dismount from the horse to continue. This, once again is fine. Now, the really odd thing happens next - as I climb over the wooden structure, I see 3 guards, and the threat indicator starts to go. I ignore this, thinking I'll just kill them if they come near me - however, as I climb down the structure I see suddenly that their gone, I look around, and see them running towards someone who looks awfully like me. I run over, kill the guards, noticing one slightly odd thing that the person who looks like me appears to also be attacking, guarding and even countering at the same time as I am. It turns out after the fight is over that he is in fact, a mirrored clone of me - when i attack, he attacks, when i block, he blocks, when i move so does he. Now this does slightly freak me out, but i think - hey, maybe its just the animus, so continue on my way - slicing through a guard patrol in double quick time first - having two people countering different attacks is awesome!
Now, for those who've played, on the final mission you come to a group of guards, and templar knights. Now, im guessing their supposed to react in someway when you arrive, however, when I rocked up, going to the indicator of the assasination target, everyone simply stood and looked at me(both of me)... Confused I proceed to murder everyone there, trying to trigger some kind of cutscene - failing in this I proceed to try and leave the level, hoping that it will reset the wierdness away. However, every time I approach leaving the level, a massive blue thing appears, and it says that I'm being chased and acannot leave the level. Now, given that there are no people left, I find this a bit odd, and eventually decide that it will be funny to assasinate myself, jointly, at the same time. When I do this, the game promptly crashes and shuts down the console...
Disheartened I reload. Firstly I find that it wiped all the things I had done that playthrough - various templars and flags that i had got had not been saved, but secondly upon re-entering the final area I run into another glitch. This one, after running through, finding no one leads to me suddenly plummeting through the floor, for no apparent reason, and eventually being killed by teh sky box. Upon re-appearing I find that there are two of me again, and the same problems ensue, although this time I did not crash it with the self assasination. I did try just killing one of them, but that just counts as a normal death, de-synchronises you and places you back in the same position with another clone.
Anyway, sorry for the epic story, but i figured it deserved it being the wierdest glitch I've ever seen, but, here's the challenge, does anyone have anything to challenge it?
